Former Texas Instrument Employee (1979 ~ 1091) Custom ICs; Former HoneyWell Employee (1984 ~ 1987) Set up HW's first standards lab and receiving inspection engineer. Since the HW sold the company, and the industry discovery of me having 20/200 vision, I was blacklisted. The VocRehab placed me on permanent disability with social security. I raised four kids on that disability check. Now I am trying to lean CAD. AutoCAD, 3DCAD and others but FreeCAD are too costly. So, I need help in converting DWGs to STP or STEP (maybe IGS. Some works) Can I get help? I tried several converters with none working with my system. It is DOS running windows 5 subroutines (In layman's terms, windows XP). The cost of windows newer versions are too high and after windows 7 to date, windows will start charging a lease price per year for their set of subroutines! I prefer Linux Mint! Any help?
