Within the project, a new wind turbine was designed for a new supplier on the market. The wind turbine of 40kW was designed according to EN 61400-2:2006 - Small scale wind power. The assignment was to work with the customer to develop a first prototype from scratch; the commission included external consultants designing automation and power generation systems. My assignment began with requirement and verification management, with analysis to make sure the small-scale wind turbine met EN 61400-2:2006 regulations. It later developed into more traditional project management of a two man engineering team. Task which were handed to me was to implement FMEA, design, component and drawing management together with the client's resources and external consultants. Project management also included managing calculation and verification of results from SEMCON CAE (computing service) to customer and discuss with them any changes to meet standards and regulations. I managed contacts with potential sub suppliers to discuss production techniques and possible changes to improve manufacturability and cost efficiency for the upcoming series production. In order to expand my expertise in design and CAD, I designed smaller components and the wind turbine tower.
Technical Coordinator between production and engineering departments during the production phase of the modernization of Swedish Royal Navy Corvettes HMS VISBY, KARLSTAD HMS and HMS NYKÖPING. Implemented and led daily production briefings between production managers and construction department. The briefings were developed to 15min long sessions where potential problems and tasks ahead were discovered and remedied quickly. Basic design of a 80m offshore patrol vessel for external customer in Asia. Responsible engineer for exhaust and combustion air systems. Responsible for requirements and verification management for all propulsion systems. During the project, a new offshore patrol vessel was designed from scratch by project engineers, external consultants and system sub suppliers. Principal task was to design and specify systems and functions based on the requirements set by the external customer
Responsible for mechanical accessories used for high voltage offshore cable installations connecting the TOTAL owned Martin Linge oil platform with the Norwegian onshore power grid.
