I sent GrabCAD an email about it yesterday. I personally don't have a problem with derivative designs, all my stuff is on OnShape so it's open and people can modify them as they wish, but it goes against goodwill to not add or contribute anything to a fork or even change the description or update the preview screenshots.
I agree, absolutely. The collaboration aspect offered by this platform is invaluable. It's the lack of acknowledgement of other's effort that is the naughty bit.
