Ian Boyd

Involved mostly in mass production component design. Boring stuff you'll seldom notice except if it fails. That, believe it or not, translates to a relatively high performance-to-cost ratio. One of my most enjoyable things is brainstorming solutions, modeling them up then machining them out on a little bench top CNC. 3D printing is convenient but there isn't the same choice of materials and it doesn't require much thinking.
