John Whaley

I worked at Haas Automation from 2000-2008 as a CNC machinist, and the last couple of years as a Manufacturing Engineer, though I never had the title. On the 1st robot cell that had a mill @ Haas I designed the state-of-the-art hydraulic fixture(s) which made extreemly acurate & repeatable parts, and have NO operator involvment when switching jobs. I wrote & came up with the probing cycles to inspect the controlled (tight tollerance) dimensions and then through macro variable programing I had the machine automatically adjust cutter-comp, re-run, and then check the part again to ensure quality. The fixtures I made, designed & implemented were featured in two different magazines.
