 Mechanical design using Solidworks  Prepare engineering designs and drawings  Examine drawings for conformity and errors  Good experience of injection mold part and sheet metal part design  Lay out sheet metal parts and develop bill of materials and estimate costs  Interpret engineering calculations and sketches from Process Engineers  Revise drawings and files to reflect engineering, shop floor or customer changes.  Research and develop new products to expand the sharing of the market  Participate in first-off assemblies and prototype testing  Cost estimation and deal with local and international vendors  Prepare new product launch package for marketing and production.  Initiate and manage new product testing activities, SLA and 3D printing prototype  Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DMFEA).  Liaise with electrical engineer to coordinate the work of CSA approval
