Best low cost cad software?

By Greg Nolan on 14 Feb 01:38 1 answer 931 views 0 comments

I am looking for the best mechanical design software under $2000. Capable of parametric modeling, surfacing and assemblies. I have used Catia V5 at work but would never be able to afford that.

Try OnShape - it can be used for free and web based and is low cost if you need private/commercial files. very similar to SolidWORKS

Also, if it is for personal or educational use you can get Fusion 360 for free as well.
