Can someone make my rendered lightsaber 'glow' ?

I have rendered a lighsaber. I would like to add additional glow effects to it to increase realism and 'wow' factor.

Just 'laser glow' the red saber thingy. LOL

I'm not good with Photoshop at all.

I would really appreciate it if fellow GrabCAD'ers help me out by demonstrating simply how to achieve this desired 'laser glow' effect.

If you are useing SolidWorks, then use the neon red glow.

Should I set the area light as WHITE & it's specular RED ?
