i was trying to make a 3D model of a cap from last 5 days but its still not perfect.. u have u use just Revolve , Extrude and pattern feature. it has a complex design on it . i will attach the image of the following cap.
Hope someone will help me.. (Solidworks Or NX)

ok, it was interesting, bt not so complicate. 4 3Dsketches + loft between two patterns with guidelines + circular array + some "makeup" tools = result
