Catia, Siemens NX, Solidworks, or Blender for 3d printing?

I have Catia, Siemens Nx, Solidworks, and Blender. In addition, I have model extracted from human, from CT. I am looking for a software to do mesh analysis on the model and auto-fix as much as possible with the tools inside the software?

Accepted answer

Parametric modelling software are still very bad at handling meshes. Blender can handles millions of polygons easily. Soldiworks, for example, can't process it if you import them as body. For now Blender is a good choice. There are other exclusive software for handling meshes but they are very pricey. You can also try MeshLab or MeshMixer. They can handle large files and have the ability to correct/fix your mesh for 3D Printing.

NX's convergent modeling suite. I use it all the time on these types of scans. Don't know where CATIA is on this with their own environmental suites.. or if there is any focus there. But, can't imagine doing this type of reconstruction without convergent modeling.
