Convert Solidworks file to Fusion compatible STP file
I downloaded a Solidworks file from a manufacturer, but don't have Solidworks installed on my computer. I do have Autodesk Fusion installed. Can anyone assist in converting a *.SLDPRT file into a *.STP file? Thank you!

Save it to your temp file in your computer.
Open Fusion 360, go to the Data panel, and click on the upload button.
Select the file from your computer, and uploaded it.
You will not get the design history, but do get a .step file from the .SLDPRT file.
save the file in a folder
then open fusion 360
in data panel, admin project
click on upload button
the file is opened in fusion 360
