Geometric sets in CATIA
Hello there i have a quick question lets say the main surface part im working on is on geometrical set 1 and i use surfaces from geometrical set 2 to cut or modify my main part will those surfaces count as a part of 1 if i try to close my main surface or convert it to solid ?

You can put any element you wish in the geometrical set, it does not have to be structured in a logical way. The order of these elements is not meaningful as their access as well as their visualization is managed independently and without any rule.
Simply one element can have multiple fathers in the geometric set.
