I'm a student and learning Catia.
I'm looking for blueprints to practice.
You can find lot of blueprints and tutorials on internet. Have a search. Any difficulties you can contact me.
got many blueprints... but now setting up them in catia for modeling giving me trouble.
as after setting one image the scale for 2nd changes...
that worked... great... thanks for ur help.
but i dint understand, whya always use axis sys. instead of normal planes.
i'm good with regular planes coz when i use axis sys, after creating a model if i change the co-ordinate location of axis sys, then only poin moves without body. sombody told me that the axis sys is not isolated. what is that?
I too used normal planes, but axis sys has its own advantage. As a BIW engineer I now have understood their usage to some extent and it's more useful. For now you can continue with your own convention but in automotive industries they use this method. Search for "vehicle co-ordinate system" in google for more information.
I think you are using sketch tracer. Better use surfaces for importing images http://www.cadenv.com/Tutorials/catia_tutorials/set_reference_image/page_1.htm
