How can I convert a DWG file to NC1?
I am looking online, but thought I would give this a shot as it may be quicker. It appears I should be able to do it in AutoCAD but this ancient 2012 version doesn't have it, or I don't think so. I do have the files in SW as well if that works.

NC1 is an intermediate proprietary file format from Mastercam than contains numerical control toolpath information.
It is not possible to convert DWG to NC1 directly without Mastercam. Furthermore it takes operator input using the Mastercam interface to process a source file into an NC1 file. It won’t do it automatically.
