How can you get dimensions of surfaces from a STEP file?

By E D on 25 Apr 14:43 1 answer 297 views 0 comments

I have a STEP file that I converted to a CATPart. The part has a shape of a hand which means it is hard to find the dimensions in order to replicate the design. I know that we can create boundaries >> fill >> join >>>>> then from here I can transform the surfaces I projected to a solid from the original STEP file. The thing is I am trying to find a way such that I am able to have dimensions of the part in order for me to design it myself instead of projecting surfaces. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas?
