How do I convert a sldprt file to a STEP or IGES file?

I can read step files but not sldprt ones. Is there a free converter somewhere I can use to do this, since I do NOT have Solidworks?

Accepted answer

Use GrabCAD Workbench. Upload you sldprt file to workbench then you can right click on the uploaded file and select "download as". You can download the file in the format of STEP, IGES, STL, Parasolid, ACIS, JT, or VRML.

Can someone convert a SLDPRT to STL file for me because I somehow can't do it with workbench and I don't want to pay for another software because its a one time thing.

It does not appear that GrabCAD Workbench is still available. However, I found that you can use the free eDrawings Viewer (from Dassault Systems, maker of SolidWorks) to open an STLPRD and then "Save As..." an STL file. The STL mesh file can then be used easily in compatible software. This works on a Mac or PC: https://www.edrawingsviewer.com/download-edrawings
