How should I model a texture like this in solidworks?

By Kwan Ki Cheung on 23 Mar 13:58 2 answers 4 comments

Hi guys, I am currently trying to model a texture on a surface as shown in the pics. I know how to use linear pattern and curve driven pattern. The problem of the pattern in the pictures is that the size of the square are changing along the curve. The square are obviously larger on the right. Linear pattern or curve driven pattern will only work for squares which size are remain the same.
I want to know if there is any way I can do it without drawing every individual square? Thank you.
