How do you add a translational rotational constraint for a screw jack mechanism? I need to add a constraint as for which I rotate the tommy bar, the screw will translate in the nut.

Its pretty easy thing to do in autodesk inventor assembly environment.

    Within assembly environment,
    >>>Click on constraint
    >>>Then Click on motion tab
    >>>Select Rotation-Translation
    >>>Then select parts you want to move/translate
    >>>Type in the translational distance for one rotation

    Yes, it that easy!!
