How to attach a motor/actuator in CATIA?

By Adam Currie on 27 Jul 18:57 2 answers 1 comment

Is there a way to simply add a motor/actuator to a part in CATIA? I'm relatively new to CATIA/3D modeling (have been working with it for 3 months) and am just wondering if I can attach a motor to the mechanism which I designed in CATIA, so I can figure out how powerful this motor will have to be in order to rotate the mechanism? If anyone could help me out with this I would be greatly appreciative as it is one of the final steps for my workterm project. If I did not provide enough detail/ information please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Adam
