How to build a pressure vessel with elliptical heads using AUTOCAD?
I need to model a pressure vessel for caustic soda solution with a concentration of
10%, as per the drawing provided. The head is elliptical 2: 1. A design temperature is 70oC. The left flange is the manhole and has a diameter of 24”. Connections 1 and 2 are 8” in diameter. Like sets 5A, 5B and 6 and 8 are 2” in diameter. A 7 connection is 4” of diameter.

Attached is a dimensional guide for SE Pressure caps. Other then that research building codes in either ASME or Boiler plate design.
As for drafting it in AutoCAD: Draft it the same you would in any drafting 2D software. I personal prefer Draftsight due to the low cost.
