How to combine properties of created sketch planes to make one plane with all the properties?

By Daniel on 18 Jun 18:50 2 answers 959 views 1 comment

Basically what I am trying to do is reverse engineer a part given to me from a customer, and since i have not had much use with CATIA i am having trouble creating a specific sketch plane.

Pretty much what i have right now is three different sketch planes all with different properties, ie. the xy, yz, xz planes are at different angles and what i am trying to do is combine those individual properties to create a plane that has the angles from the xy, yz, and xz planes that i created.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

First create 3 line with direction option in line command. then use angle/normal to plane command to create planes which have different angles.

okey daniel then use mean through points command in plane types. first create specific 3 points on your new planes. then select this points in mean through points command. you can select more than 3 also.
