How to define individual faces in Creo Parametric?

By Jack Gibbons on 14 Feb 21:12 1 answer 637 views 0 comments

I'm trying to build a truck underbar for one of the challenges here on grabcad and I'm having issues when I try to analyze the result of pressure on a specific part of the front plate because I can't individually select the part of the bar that I want. I'm using SimScale for the analysis and here's a video of what I'm trying to do.

As you can see, the front bar is broken into different faces that can be analyzed individually. I've tried creating the different sections as different extrusions but Creo puts them together and they appear as one face in SimScale. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
