AutoCAD like 2D drafting AutoCAD? Or something 3D like Inventor, or Fusion?

What type of file do you have? Maybe someone here can open it and quickly calculate the mass in a 3D program (you'll need to provide the material density).

Iges and Step files will not have an accurate mass. They typically open with just a default material applied and would be incorrect. You would have to have the part be a solid and change its properties to that of the material. If you can post the part here in step format and tell me the material I can give you the mass. I run inventor.
