How to import 2D point cloud data in solid works?

By Akshay Deshpande on 21 Apr 08:55 1 answer 927 views 0 comments

I have plotted a NACA airfoil in MATLAB with only x,y coordinates and saved them in a .xyz file. While opening that file in solidworks keeping the ScanTo3d option enabled, it shows an error stating that "There are no points that exist in the file". I have even tried saving the coordinates in a text file and using the "Curve through xyz option" but it shows the same error.
Is there an alternative procedure be followed?
Thanks in advance.
