How to make an electric drill housing in Creo Elements/Wildfire Pro-E

By Gary Brown on 20 Oct 18:21 1 answer 1032 views 0 comments

Hi, just wanted to see if anyone could lend a hand as the best place to start. I have to make a half clamshell of an electric drill. Done some but really not happy with them and was looking for any advice on the best way to go about it.

Thank you

Check out Creo freestyle. First sketch your design around the mechanical parts (form follows function). Model a freestyle object from this sketch. Shell this model, split in half and start adding ribs ect.
For a real model you should dive into creo isdx and mold design, those are too comprehensive to elaborate on here.
