How to measure the real lenght of a curve on solidworks?

i wonder if it is possible to measure the real length of a curve, on a sketch fir exmp. imagine a rope stands on the floor randomly placed. is it possible to measure the lenght of that rope on solidworks?

Since there really isn't any random in SolidWorks, there must have been a curve that determines the path of the rope. You can measure that curve by using the measure tool. First, make sure the curve is visible. Then, click Tools --> Measure. Now click on the curve and you will get the Arc Length of it. This also works for edges if the rope were actually square tubing or something like that.
