How to model an axial blade without a hub?

By Daniel Za on 07 Dec 09:08 1 answer 0 comments

Hello,

I read an article about hubless propellers in comparison to a propeller with a hub.
Then I wanted to model the geometry but I don't know how I extrude the sketch, so the tip is spiky. I tried to use the sweep function but that doesn't work either.
Is there any trick I can use?

Thank you !

It's ok, think I found a way. Tried the Sweep again. Didn't think that I can sweep an arc.
But now it looks much better to me.
