How to model car for 3D printing

By Robert Ballo on 09 Oct 21:32 2 answers 0 comments

I like to model car for 3D printing. I did it in solid works by surface, but when i did .STL file for Startasys Insight, it doesnt work, because its surface model. So I need convert surface to solid, but when I try thicken, it doesnt convert all model, but only a one part. And all parts wasnt convertable.

I like to ask, which programs are u using to model cars and which method are u using.

Thank you very much

For 3D printing the model has to be leak proof i.e., covered from all sides and no gaps should be there. Just make sure you fulfill this condition.
