How to model Formed Motor Winding in SolidWorks?

By Tanner Jones on 15 May 20:49 1 answer 981 views 0 comments

Currently stumped on how to go about modeling formed motor windings like the ones used in the Chevy Volt.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't need exact dimensions or anything, I just think the geometry and shapes generated are gorgeous and wanted to try and figure out the best approach to them.
I've got something started, but it is still off and I'd like to improve it and get the geometry closer, but I'm not currently sure as to how to go about it.
