You would probably want to do sketches on separate work planes and have the work planes progress from open side to bottom side. Take a few measurements at each point of the planes of the opening profile as it progresses to the bottom. Then do a loft from open side to bottom and then do the shell command to open up the top side. All the outside edges and details you can then add after.

This isn't necessarily the best way but this is where I would start.

It depends on the purpose - whether you need this with correct dimensions etc or to be used for doing realistic images. I guess you're gonna use it for images.
Anyway, it can be done using different tools. I would go with Surface Tools - the end result would be high quality with enhanced details. But, it can be done using plane sketches, loft tool, sweep and FREEFORM. The "Freeform" tool is very useful for this kind of products. When you're done with the end product, the "freeform" can be used to modify the surfaces and get some irregular shapes.

It's what i would use. Hope this will help you.

    Google translate:
I consider that the complex forms are treated better with the surface. The majority of the complex surfaces are treated with projections of curves in order to obtain curves 3d which will be smoothed with one another. It is rare that there is no need for smoothing using "boundary surface" or filled.
