If i join the gear with the shaft by mating pitch circle , then i can't move the gear horizontally along the shaft. But when i mate the circular plane of the shaft and circular plane inside the gear , i can move the gear horizontally along the shaft but the gear doesn't rotate properly with the shaft
I can show you example, but you must read HELP before asking so simple questions!

@Inspire, I am really sorry. I should thank you, you tried your best to help me. Thank you very much. I am new learner. For this, my questions are simple. I try to move the gear along the shaft with 'move with triad' and then try to rotate it but it didn't rotate. If I use 'limit mates for the distance' , i can't use 'move with triad' to move the gear along the shaft. please help me. Again, I am really sorry.

BTW, DistanceMates works only in "Model-window", for Animation the Distance must be change manually (like in video from your link)
By the way, the video from your link only shows the principle of operation of the gearbox, but the gearbox of this type were made in the beginning of the last century; modern gearboxes are constant mesh with synchronizers; therefore they do not need to stop to switch the speed;
but if you so lazy that can't read the HELP, I can do the same video named "12 speeds sliding gear box", but at this moment I see no reasons to do that, because you're not even able to thank for what has already been done...
@Inspire, I want to design 6 speed gear box. But to design this I need 18 gears and 4 shafts. If I know how to slide the gear in several position (like the video i give), I only need 10 gears and 3 shafts. The pictures of my project are :
