    I think that is not possible.I tried it too.You can output it as an audio and convert to gif using some simple converting software.

    Save a picture from ProE of each of the steps you want.
    Then, I like to use the following procedure:

    Another trick is that ProE "resizes" your part each time you regen. So if you draw a datum curve around the whole assembly and hide it. The assembly will stay in the center of the screen.
