How would you design a boat's propeller?
Can anyone suggest a faster, cooler way to do it? Because it's not the destination, it's the WAY TO the destination, right? :D
I drew a 3D line and did a surface fill -> thicken -> circular pattern.
The same one you can see on my boat too!
It depends completely on what kind of a propeller you want to create - if the propeller is just for show and does not need to be as accurate and as realistic as possible, then your propeller works just fine as it is.
If you'd like to create something similar to what you have now,but having more control over the curvature and the pitch, I'd suggest using a loft.
Third options is to create a propeller and then use the "twist" function found under features(but what creates a slightly different type of propeller.
