I am not able to open the IGES/STEP model which i download from this site. i am using PRO-E-4

The problem could simply be due to dots and dashes,
ie. file named "part-model.stp" will not load
change file name to: "part_model.stp"
and try again.

hi, may be the part name having the space. ex: part model.stp or part model.igs.
Remove the space, and try it.
