Dear all GRABCAD COMMUNITY member Greeting .........................................
What is the best 3D modeling software for industrial design?
sir Inventor auto desk is mechanical / civil
both side uses ya only mechanical ??
i was find out in google and i see model pics and i just imaging very flexibility software.
DeRoner Sir Good morning FEA mean ?
and Inventor software not use in here.
may be, i don't know but solid works & creo parametric most use in this industries.
If you were able to choose among these softwares, I'd go with Inventor or Solidworks because of the extra engineering tools they have available like FEA, dynamic simulation and flow simulation. Creo is a good software, but a licence to use cost almost double compared to other software and it takes longer to do some of the most simple modeling techniques. It also doesn't have as many engineering tools either.
I have done Auto CAD LT 2014
but now start training creo parametric 3.0
This is to better ya some other choose
According to me,
For basic concepts you must start from AutoCAD,
then as per your intrest
if Automobile/aerospace then learn CATIA.
if Machine Design- SolidWorks & NX
Above software was related to modeling.
and if you want to go in simulation (analysis ) then you can go for Ansys (Static + CFD).for analysis you also require basic knowledge of modeling softwares too.
