What is the best 3D modeling software for industrial design?

    First of all u should go for Autocad the most demanding and either solidworks or Catia or creo or all.

    According to me,
    For basic concepts you must start from AutoCAD,
    then as per your intrest
    if Automobile/aerospace then learn CATIA.
    if Machine Design- SolidWorks & NX

    Above software was related to modeling.
    and if you want to go in simulation (analysis ) then you can go for Ansys (Static + CFD).for analysis you also require basic knowledge of modeling softwares too.
