I wants to add 2.5 % shrinkage allowance on cast part for Investment casting die ?
Currently i am designing doe for investment casting die.Material for Casting part will be SS304.I already design the die buy Mold Tool in solid works.I wants to add shrinkage allowance.
Please help how it works ??

After building your model to design intent, insert a 'scale' feature. Use a scale factor of 1.025 to increase the model by 2.5%.

dont forget to scale it by centroid point, so you dont mess up with the final result
and by the way just for you to notice that in investment casting total shrinkage is wax shrinkage and metal shrinkage (also there are few number of user added ceramic shrinkage) so you must pay attention not only to your stainless steel shrinkage. wax also shrink
RobertH: check your math
Let's say designed part is 100mm long. Using your scaling factor (1.025) would make the die 102.5mm. Now shrink that by 2.5% and the cast part is 99.9375mm long. Probably not to tolerance!
I'm not that good at math, but I think you want to scale the model by a factor of 1.02564.
