I don't have solidworks but need to open this file somehow. I would prefer it if there was a way to convert it to obj, but stl would work too. Any thoughts?
I appreciate it.
NO!!! You need the native program to open the file it is made in, only than you can convert it to another file..I wil convert this file for you as STEP asap..
Actually, there are some programs that can open and convert several formats. I have Simlab Composer 2015, it can open Solidworks and Inventor (you need to install the free viewers) and then can save to DXF, DWG, Sketchup, U3D, OBJ, 3DS, DWF, Collada, etc...
Thank you very much! You are a lifesaver.
No problem...engineers need to help each other...thats why we are part of this community...(and I love sweden...got stuck in Stockholm for 6 days when the iceland vulcano exploded) Nice people overthere but the beer was tooooooo expensive...hehehehe
Haha. Yeah, I've found that the best way to get around the beer prices is just to brew your own
