Is there anyway in Autodesk inventor to do a fillet on two assembled edges?

Like if you were designing a box with 4 sides that you placed in an assembly with mitered corners, but then wanted to put a rounded filleted shape on the corners?

Fillets in assemblies

In order to do the fillets you want, this needs to be made as a single part file rather than an assembly. Otherwise, you will not be able to get the shape you are after. Once you get the fillets you are after though in the part, you can use workplanes to split the part into the 4 pieces/solids and export those into different part files for an assembly.

Can you post the part file or image of the part here? I may be able to help you determine if you can or not. Sometimes its just a simple trick of selecting edges properly and in the right order.

In the pdf I have a simple box assembly, just 4 sides that have a fillet on the tops of each side. But after assembly I would like to fillet down the corners.

I'm running 2017, but it won't open these sorry. Are these 2018 files?

Here is Robert Bonilla's file as a step file. Hopefully you are able to open that and the features come in properly so you can export them.

I'm not sure of this.. just try combine option, that combines two individual or new solids into one and give a try.

Thanks, it worked, I went back draw what I needed as a single part, placed my fillets, then used the intersect extrusion to get the single side I needed that I could then take into my assembly. Don't use the intersect option that much but this was a perfect use for it.
