license for free models
my name is Ionut and i found a lot of beatiful models here which i need to use in my project.i want to make a trailer for a game and then set it up on kickstarter for funding,so its a noncommercial project.i dont intend to sell any of those product, just to use it in my trailer.my question is if i need some license form the owners of the models or are free to use in any way or projects.i can not find any information about that on the side.
thank you very much
Of course you do not need a license from any member, all the models that the users uploaded can be used for any project, task, or as learning if you want to reverse engineer the model or learn how they modeled it, so you are free to download with confidence.

To me, funding seems to be commercial. So my answer would be: 'No, it's not allowed.' (if not otherwise stated by the contributor)
I am not a lawyer. If you are unsure, you should definitely consult one.
My understanding is that if you use a model in a project which is meant for earning money it is commercial. Also if it is just fundraising because it aims at collecting money for a (commercial) project from which you will eventually earn any money.
