Materials for CFD Sim in Solidworks 2013

By Tiago Bárbara on 17 May 09:48 0 answers 0 comments

Hi, I'm trying a CFD simulation in Solidworks 2013 of this model Duke SP1600

Is it needed to add a material? If anyone wants to try and simulate the CFD for this bike to compare results, at a speed of 120km/h i got about 25N of force and a drag coefficent of .12

I know I'm not regarding the driver, still, I believe this is a very low value and when I put in flow lines, they ony deviate from the front of the tire and go trough the fairings.

Thanks
