Measure the mass of a feature

By Ivo on 03 Dec 19:55 9 answers 2 comments

Hello,

Please, how do I have to measure the mass of each tree feature? Let me say I have 2 “Pads” (extrusions) – identical steel cubes. I want to know the mass of each of them separately. If I use “Measure Inertia” tool and click on PartBody I will get the mass of the whole part (8048 g). If I use “Measure Inertia” tool and click on Pad.1 or Pad.2 (cubes) I get strange small mass (512 g -> 512 g + 512 g = 1024 g << 8048 g ). What is wrong? Where is the problem?

Thanks in advance!
