PDF files do not create shadings

When creating a PDF file from a Draft, which has shadings in a drawing view (e.g. 300 dpi), the same drawing view in the new PDF file do not include the shading. Which adjustment should be made ?

Hi Peter

I have this happen too. If you use the "Save As" option you can select Adobe PDF and then the shaded views are printed!

Graham is right...
...when you add shadings to drawing (rectangular select drawing, select shading options, choose shading you want, and on "save as translated" menu choose save as .pdf...
...all shadows are there
Enjoy :)

Hi Peter

When i saw your question, started to look at it by myself and didn`t find any of adjustments you asked...every time your drawings goes straight as lines to .pdf, even part environment/render mode give the same results...but, you got alternative solution for this issue. When you are in draft (all colors and shadows included) save it like .jpg (or if you are using win 7, snipping tools/mark your drawing/save as .jpg - win xp: ctrl+c drawing/open paint/ctrl+v/save as .jpg). This .jpg you can import in .pdf straight if you have Acrobat writer or through word2007 directly using save as .pdf command.

Hope it helps :)

Thank you both.
However, it seems like the file size for the PDF file is now 5-10 times bigger (depending on resolution), than if you use the "Print to PDF" way.
But anyway, it is working now :-)
