Solidworks cosmos meshing - what affects mesh time, other than element size?
My laptop takes her sweet time while meshing, althrough, the memory usage never goes above 4gb(8gb DDR3 available), processor usage in the 10-20% range.
How can i improve my mesh times? Move to a desktop I7 ?
Laptop:
Intel I7 2630QM processor,
8GB ddr3 memory
1TB 7200 rpm HDD

Most of the time, especially when working with a mixed mesh, as in your ZAP raam TH-edit_24.01.2009-001.sldprt, you have to do a good job of prepping the part.
