using API to control motion

I am trying to control 6 dof Robot (Path Planning)
But my problem I don't know if there any way to do that (motors turn on or turn off , increase speed .......) and get sensor value (contact force , displacement value)??

if there is any way to do that using solidworks or catia or inventor I hope if some can help me with that or provide me any tutorial
