What does question mark (that at the end of sketch name) mean?

I see a question mark at the end of a sketch name when I make a 3d sketch for a route. It's causing rebuild errors when I put the part into an assembly. What does it mean?

In Solidworks it means that the sketch is not fully constrained.

In your feature tree next the sketch there are 3 possible scenarios. If you referenced another file you will get a > with nothing next to it. If you get a >? that means there is an external reference that is missing. This really just means the file isnt currently open(and doesnt need to be). If you simply open the file its referencing that ? will go away. If you see >-x that means the reference is broken.

It means something in that sketch cannot be solved. Missing external references are usually the culprit. Edit the sketch and hit Display/delete realations on the command bar do you have any brown entities?
