What is difference between config.pro and config.sup?

I'm not 100% sure but her is what I beleive is the difference:

The config.pro (or configuration) files are used to determine how the current session of Pro/E operates, reacts and looks. From the background colors, to the way assemblies are handled and how dimensions are controlled, are all defined in the config.pro settings. A config.sup file is basicly the same but it is designed for config options that you do not want changed. Options contained in a config.sup are 'locked' so that loading later files cannot change them. You can load other config.pro files, but duplicate options will not take effect.
