What is the best open source CAD to design RC airplane?

By Michal Kubo on 27 Jan 22:58 1 answer 339 views 0 comments

Since child I am passionate in aircrafts and also I am occasional RC plane builder. I never bought plane, I always built my own.
I have some experience with AUTO CAD, Inventor and with CATIA. CATIA appears to be the best software for this application because surfaces are created easily.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
I would like to design some 1/12 RC fighter from WW2.

Hello Michal. I used several times FreeCAD and it was quite useful for my purposes. You can take a look of it here: http://www.freecadweb.org/.
Good luck with your RC plane.
    Kind regards,

    Giuseppe
