What is the difference between Industrial Designing and Mechanical Designing?

Are both terms work the same? And which one is better and why?

Industrial design covers various non-mechanical items and products, a toothbrush or a glass, for example. Mechanical design is as it's name clearly states, mechanical... Mostly movable parts that usually interact with each other in some form or way.
