Is sketch support useful? when to use it? thanks in advance
sketch support indicates where is the sketch plane is lying on. and also you can change sketch support when you need.
Suppose you have created a sketch on XY plane and applied the pad or whatever command to make it solid ,Later on you realized that the part's sketch should be in ZX plane , Then you can just change the sketch support from XY plane to ZX plane ,and your problem is resolved.
: Sketch support can be XY ,YZ, ZX plane or any flat face of a solid .
: Sketch support must be planar i.e you can select the flat face of solid as a sketch support ,but sphere, conical portion, round ,or any other irregular surface can't be a sketch support
