Question for the group....Which Autodesk product will work best with converting Standard DWG file over to a STEP File? I'm working on a simple project and actually went on to Autodesk Discussions Group without much success. Any help or Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Milt

Stephen, this does not work with Regular AutoCAD. STL files will work if the 3D object is small. That being said, I have some larger files (wider the 12"sq) that a 3D printer is capable of working with so. I need to create "STEP" (Stp) files capable of working with a CNC machine. So...we are back to square 1 meaning:
1.) Which Autodesk product(s) are capable of creating a STEP file?
2..) Which Autodesk product is the best to work with?

Any latest version of any Autodesk software would definitely do the job just fine. Which Autodesk product you use doesn't matter.
